INSTALLATION/ PROVISIONING

 

·Senior Certified Installer -- MCI Network Services-Network Construction installing backbone long-haul and local fiber optic networks.

·Hundreds of completed installation projects involving routers, servers, switches, and transport systems from a wide variety of vendors such as NORTEL, CISCO, ERICSSON and LUCENT.

·Proficiency with ProComm Plus, Connection Manager, Hyper Terminal, Extra Putty and a variety of other applications used to provision, commission and troubleshoot equipment, circuits and networks.

·Trained and skilled in fusion splicing fiber-optic cables.

     ·Installed and provisioned various ADTRAN and CALIX equipment,

          including the TA5000 and “E” series’, respectively.

·Construction Manager for 20-30 men on the Dominion Telecom project for Atlantic Intercomunications that included projects in 8 major cities in the eastern U.S.

·Over 15 years of experience leading an install team of from 2-10 members.
